BOYNECLARKE LLP lawyers and staff are active in our community, volunteering on Boards of Directors for numerous non-profit and community organizations, as well as sponsoring and attending many fundraising events, including:

March 1, 2016 – Human Resources Coordinator Colleen McNeil will be attending Halifax Partnership Pitch It! Event.

March 2, 2016 – Human Resources Coordinator Colleen McNeil and Human Resources Assistant Lauren Sangster will be attending Mercer’s 24th Annual Retirement Outlook and Fearless Forecast.  

March 3, 2016 – BOYNECLARKE LLP is honoured to be a sponsor of The Canadian Association of Family Enterprise (CAFE) 2016 Family Enterprise of the Year Award Luncheon. Lawyers George M. Clarke and Natalie J. Woodbury, TEP will be attending.

On the same day, BOYNECLARKE LLP Trivia Night will be held at The Lower Deck, starting at 6:30pm. Proceeds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As always, six rounds of trivia, prizes for round winners, and 50/50 draw! Cost is $10 per player.

March 8, 2016 – BOYNECLARKE LLP is proud to be a sponsor of the International Women’s Day 2016 Breakfast hosted by The Centre for Women in Business. Lawyers Rilla Banks, Margaret J. George, Christene H. Hirschfeld, Q.C., Marc LeClair and Amy G. Gibson Saab will be attending.

On the same day, BOYNECLARKE LLP is pleased to support International Women’s Day by acting as a drop off location for gift card donations which will support the purchase of much needed items for women’s shelters. For more information click here.

CBA-NS renames its Distinguished Service Award to honour the legacy of Gordon F. Proudfoot, Q.C.

The Canadian Bar Association–Nova Scotia Branch has renamed its Distinguished Service Award to honour the legacy of Gordon F. Proudfoot, Q.C. Mr. Proudfoot, a 2000 recipient and Honourary Life Member of the Canadian Bar Association, exemplified the ideals of the award. He passed away on May 1, 2020.
