Posted in: News

After 11 years at BOYNECLARKE LLP, Valerie Vaughan-Hines, Director of Corporate Services, is set to retire from her role.

Since beginning her legal career, Vaughan-Hines has worked to support her business law colleagues in all aspects of commercial and corporate transactions.  Vaughan-Hines is a graduate of the Schulich School of Law and is a non-practicing member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.

Vaughan-Hines’ last day at BOYNECLARKE LLP will be Thursday, April 26.  After retirement, she is looking forward to travelling and spending plenty of time with her friends and family.

“I had a tremendous experience here at BOYNECLARKE LLP. I will miss everyone dearly but I’m looking forward to this new chapter in my life,” Vaughan-Hines noted when asked if she was looking forward to retirement.

Currently, in the role of in-house Trade-mark Agent with BOYNECLARKE LLP, Marc Belliveau is set to take on the additional role of Director of Corporate Services, upon Vaughan-Hines’ retirement.

“Valerie has been such a wonderful resource and a trusted advisor for our firm,” says Marc Belliveau. “I wish her a fun-filled retirement and am very excited about succeeding her as Director of Corporate Services.”

Belliveau joined BOYNECLARKE LLP in 2017 as a Trade-mark Agent and Senior Corporate Paralegal on the Business Law Team. Belliveau is a member of the International Practice Management Association and is registered with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office as a Trade-mark Agent.
