Nova Scotia Nature Trust Acquires 120 Hectares of Riverfront Land

BOYNECLARKE LLP would like to congratulate our client, Nova Scotia Nature Trust, on the acquisition of 120 hectares of riverfront land in Hants County.  

Led by Executive Director Bonnie Sutherland, Nova Scotia Nature Trust acquired the 120 hectare Devils Jaw Conservation Lands which is made up of wetlands, forests and over four kilometers of pristine shoreline. The land is home to several endangered species that live amongst the freshwater and forest habitats. In addition the land boasts dramatic waterfalls, rapids and gorges. This land comes as an addition to the previous land acquired nearby in 2013.

Nova Scotia Nature Trust is a group of Nova Scotians dedicated to conserving threatened ecologically significant lands in Nova Scotia. Their mission is to protect Nova Scotia’s outstanding natural legacy through land conservation.
