Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society Appoints Terrance Sheppard, KC to Council

The firm is pleased to congratulate partner Terrance (Terry) Sheppard, KC on his recent appointment to the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society Council as a member in the Halifax District, through a unanimous recommendation.

Terry practices Family and Criminal Law with a specific focus on guiding families through issues relating to surrogacy and adoption. He is an active member of the local community and has years of experience with both the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society and the Canadian Bar Association, recently as the Nova Scotia chapter’s President.

Through this new role, Terry will aid in approving the Society’s Strategic Framework and offer his expert opinion through Council to provide leadership to those within the legal profession.
