We are pleased to announce that Lola Agbaje-Williams, an Associate at BOYNECLARKE, has been awarded the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Nova Scotia Branch’s Community Service Award.

The Community Service Award was established in 2001 and honors and recognizes an individual’s commitment to their community or charitable causes.

Lola is a member of our Business law team and her practice focuses specifically on Business and Intellectual Property law. She was first called to the Nigerian Bar in 2010, and the Nova Scotian Bar in 2022.  She is an active volunteer with her church and holds leadership positions in various organizations including the Canadian Bar Association, Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, Global Lawyers of Canada, and the Association of Nigerians in Nova Scotia.

Lola holds an LL.B. from the University of Lagos, an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), and a Certificate of Qualification issued by the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
