BOYNECLARKE LLP is pleased to announce that Doug W. Schipilow, Jacqueline R. Ruck, and Ryan G. Blood have joined the firm as Associate Lawyers, having been admitted to the Bar on June 6th, 2014.
Doug is a member of our Creditor Practice Team, focusing on creditor collections litigation. Doug has a Masters of Business Administration (’09) from Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business, and he completed his J.D. at Dalhousie University in 2013. Before articling with BOYNECLARKE, Doug participated in our Zenith Award-winning Summer Student Program, working with the World Wildlife Federation of Canada.
Jacqueline is practicing with our Business Law and Business Litigation Teams, where she focuses on Bankruptcy and Insolvency work. Jacqueline completed her articles with BOYNECLAKE, earning her LL.B. at the University of Ottawa in 2010. A committed member of our community, Jacqueline is a volunteer for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
Ryan has joined our Personal Injury Team, concentrating on litigation and insurance law. Ryan obtained his LL.B. at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law in 2013. Ryan also participated in our Summer Student Program; he worked with the Brain Injury Association of Nova Scotia and now serves as their President. Ryan also sits on the Board of the Metro Community Housing Association, a non-profit that provides residential services to individuals with mental health difficulties.
