BOYNECLARKE has a strong history of commitment to community. From our complimentary presentations and board memberships to our innovative Summer Student Program, BOYNECLARKE encourages lawyers and staff to give back to our community.
One such community support program at BOYNECLARKE is our weekly casual day. Staff members raise approximately $500 a month through this program, and the funds are donated to a different charity or fund raiser each month, pre-selected at the start of the year by participating staff.
Based on Casual Days participant votes, the 11 charities we will be supporting in 2014 are as follows:
– SPCA of Nova Scotia
– Phoenix Youth
– Make-A-Wish Foundation
– Canadian Cancer Society
– Bide Awhile Animal Shelter
– IWK Hospital Foundation
– FEED Nova Scotia
– Children’s Wish Foundation
– Alzheimer’s Society
– Feeding Others of Dartmouth
– Christmas Families
BOYNECLARKE also sets one month’s fundraising aside for unexpected events, such as a natural disaster. Should no unprecedented event occur, the funds raised for that month will be donated to Alice Housing.
