About Lauren

Lauren has an empathetic approach with clients, understanding that family law deals with personal matters that impact clients’ daily lives. She takes the time to help clients understand the legal process and walk them through the various stages of their family law matter. Lauren is particularly passionate about legal writing and drafting. She tackles complex family law issues through her attention to detail, legal research skills and legal drafting.

Lauren was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2017 after earning her law degree from Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law. She also holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from Dalhousie University.

Lauren is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society. Her passion for children and families is evident in both her work life and personal life. In her spare time Lauren loves spending time with her young children and visiting her family in PEI. You can often find her out thrifting, looking for vintage clothes and books.
