Nova Scotia Nature Trust Acquires 300 Acres of Conservation Lands

BOYNECLARKE LLP would like to congratulate our client, Nova Scotia Nature Trust, on the acquisition of 300 acres of Wilsons Lake Conservation Lands in Yarmouth County.   

Led by Executive Director Bonnie Sutherland, Nova Scotia Nature Trust acquired 300 acres of Wilsons Lake Conservation Lands which is home to wetland plants known as Atlantic Coastal Plain Flora. The Wilsons Lake Conservation Lands are made up of wetlands, forests and over two and a half kilometers of lake shoreline. The land is home to rare plants, eleven of which are on Canada’s endangered species list.

Nova Scotia Nature Trust is a group of Nova Scotians dedicated to conserving threatened ecologically significant lands in Nova Scotia. Their mission is to protect Nova Scotia’s outstanding natural legacy through land conservation.
