Christene H. Hirschfeld appointed Queen’s Counsel

BOYNECLARKE LLP would like to congratulate Business Law Lawyer Christene H. Hirschfeld, who was appointed a Queen’s Counsel by the Attorney General of Nova Scotia on December 28, 2012. 

As one of 14 appointments in the Province, Christene has received much deserved recognition as one of Nova Scotia’s outstanding legal counsel.

CBA-NS renames its Distinguished Service Award to honour the legacy of Gordon F. Proudfoot, Q.C.

The Canadian Bar Association–Nova Scotia Branch has renamed its Distinguished Service Award to honour the legacy of Gordon F. Proudfoot, Q.C. Mr. Proudfoot, a 2000 recipient and Honourary Life Member of the Canadian Bar Association, exemplified the ideals of the award. He passed away on May 1, 2020.
