About Lola

Lola is an Associate on our Business Law team, practicing primarily Business and Intellectual Property law. She provides exceptional services for clients with creative and effective solutions to address their needs and protect their business interests. Lola advises on business operations, commercial transactions, commercial real estate and development, intellectual property protection and strategy, privacy and other business-related matters.

Lola holds an LL.B. from the University of Lagos, an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and received the 2014 International Bar Association Scholarship in the Intellectual Property, Communication and Technology Section. While practicing as a legal counsel in Nigeria for several years and subsequently working at BOYNECLARKE, Lola gained experience on a variety of Corporate-Commercial, Property and Litigation matters.

Outside the office, Lola enjoys singing, writing and spending time with family. She is passionate about developing others and making impact through advocacy and community work. She actively volunteers in her local church and with several organizations such as the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers. She is a founding member and Chair of the firm’s Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Reconciliation Committee and has been a Judge with the Price Media Law Moot Court Competition at the University of Oxford since 2015.
