Core Duties and Responsibilities
As Corporate Services Lawyer (Manager), your responsibilities will include, but is not limited to, the following:
Contribute to work output by completing corporate law transactions including incorporations, amalgamations, purchase and sale of business, and tax reorganizations;
Facilitate the delivery of high quality, timely output from the Corporate Services team by optimizing workflow process and procedures, delegating and managing work assignments;
Internal and external relationship building including attendance at Corporate Service conferences;
Supervising a high performing team.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful, you possess the following qualifications and skills:
Experience with Corporate Services or equivalent skills and experience;
Member of the Nova Scotia Bar or eligible to become a member;
Exceptional attention to detail and proven organizational skills;
Positive team player with proven ability to inspire teams;
Outstanding computer skills, specifically Microsoft Suite and outlook with the aptitude to learn new software quickly.
