Steven G. Zatzman has practiced law since 1977 initially in Halifax, Nova Scotia and subsequently in Dartmouth for the last 34 years. His practice focuses on Family Law, General Litigation, Wills, Estates and Trusts and Real Estate.
He is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association – Nova Scotia Branch; a Past President of the Canadian Transport Lawyers’ Association; a member of the Atlantic Provinces' Trial Lawyers’ Association; a member of the A.D.R. Atlantic Institute and an Arbitrator. He is a Chair of the Nova Scotia Assessment Appeal Tribunal and an Arbitrator under the Condominium Act and the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP). He has presented papers on legal topics of interest to the Canadian Transport Lawyers' Association Annual Convention and the Transportation Lawyers' Association (US) as well as the Bar Admission Course.
Steven was an avid tennis player for many years and now enjoys swimming and biking. He is on the Board of Boys Town Jerusalem (Canada) and serves as President of the Board of the Beth Israel Synagogue. He is a Past-President of the Canadian B’nai Brith, the Halifax West Liberal Association and the Halifax Clayton Park Liberal Association.
